“It was in May, when I understood that was pregnant. I remember then the words of the doctor who said: “Look outside the window, see the sun, enjoy the flowers blossom and cheer up! No one is going to die!”
And my answer was: “I am going to live”.
I gave birth to my child almost at 36. The doctors were strongly against it. When I was a child I have got vertebral fracture, which caused deformation of my breast. This explained the verdict of the doctors, who informed me that I would be able to survive the period of pregnancy, but would die from cardiopulmonary decompensation right away after giving birth to a child….
“I would not listen to anyone. And now I have a daughter. And more than that, I am a grandmother”.
The photography project will tell the visitor about life of women, who being brave enough regardless of their being in a wheelchair together with the tough verdicts given by the doctors, proved that nothing competes with the desire of a woman to be a mother.
