Eight participants – eight Ancient Greek goddesses – eight types of femininity
When we hear the word “femininity”, the first thing we think about is appearance, we associate this notion with naivety, ingenuousness and sexuality at the same time. But all these associations make it difficult to catch the real meaning of this word, it simply gets lost. However, every woman possesses her own unique image of femininity, which is far beyond stereotypes and clear definitions. And who said that such an amazing quality as femininity should be in any way defined?
According to the American psychologist Jean Shinoda Bolen, there are eight types of femininity, and a certain Greek goddess corresponds to a certain type. For a month the promoters and participants of this project were turning this theory into reality, trying to reveal a goddess in each of the women.

“When I was 20, I injured my spine. It seemed to me that the life was over. In reality it was just the beginning. But I realized it later. A new life began, with a different perception of simple, everyday things.
Fencing has made my life more diverse, I have become more self-confident. Medals, won at the World and European cups, mean not only victory over the rivals, but first of all over myself. Of course, my dream is winning at the Paralympic Games, but even this dream is not a limit. You should never rest on the laurels but always strive for something better, improve yourself, so that you can always find some sense in your life.”
